Story Line :

Two investigators of paranormal hoaxes, the veteran Dr. Margaret Matheson and her young assistant, Tom Buckley, study the most varied metaphysical phenomena with the aim of proving their fraudulent origin. Simon Silver, a legendary blind psychic, reappears after an enigmatic absence of 30 years to become the greatest international challenge for both orthodox science and professional skeptics. Tom starts to develop an intense obsession with Silver, whose magnetism becomes stronger with each new manifestation of inexplicable events. As Tom gets closer to Silver, tension mounts, and his worldview is threatened to its core...

Just a short rant. Is anybody else fed up of studio employees going onto IMDb and giving a film a brilliant review before it's even released?

I saw the trailer for this on TV tonight and thought I'd check it out. Surprise surprise, it's already getting glowing reviews (from as far back as April) even though it's not released until June 15th.

You can spot 'em a mile off! "Prometheus" is a classic example. Getting terrible reviews, but the reviews that give it 10/10 tend to never give any criticism, plus the posters haven't posted any other reviews. If they have the movie is from the same studio and that crap film also gets 10/10

I haven't seen this film yet, but I doubt I will now after this. Just wish film companies would stop posting fake reviews and using this site as free advertising. It's getting tedious! 

I, like lots of you, use IMDb to get a feel for whether a film is worth seeing or not, but the studios and their planted "reviewers" are getting out of hand! Hope IMDb gets a grip on it as I love this site!
