Bad Ass Movie Story: A Vietnam veteran who becomes a local hero after saving a man from attackers on a city bus decides to take action when his best friend is murdered and the police show little interest in solving the crime.
Bad Ass Movie Plot:
Decorated Vietnam vet Frank Vega (Danny Trejo) returns home only to be shunned by society, leaving him without a job or his high school sweetheart. It's not until forty years later when an incident on a commuter bus, where he protects an elderly black man from a pair of skinheads, makes him a local hero, and he's suddenly celebrated once again. But his good fortune suddenly turns for the worse when his best friend Klondike (Harrison Page) is murdered and the police aren't doing anything about it.
Release: Production was completed by May 2011. SC Films picked up sales rights to the film with plans to present it to buyers at the Cannes Film Festival.The film has been sold to Wild Bunch for distribution in Germany and to Pinnacle Films for distribution in Australia. Subsequently distribution arrangements were made with Samuel Goldwyn Films for USA theatrical release on April 13, 2012 as well as Twentieth Century Fox for ancillary rights and international all media distribution.

First I concede to say the only reason I picked this to watch was cause it had Mr. Danny Trejo in it. He's been a great add on to all his previous roles, and I wonder how would he do in a non-Roderiguez lead spot. I had mid to low expectations, due to the reviews and description...but this movie kept getting better!! I can only hope that Danny Trejo gets more roles, cause he can carry a movie. I like this more than Machete (close race). Simple story, decent comedy, gritty-action...Ron Pearlman and Charles S. Dutton guest star, along with Joyful Drake - this movie bangs. This is not your B-level movie with cheese acting. Nobody's getting a Oscar but Stallone would be proud. - SIDE NOTE: I'M VOTING FOR DANNY TREJO TO BE IN EXPENDABLES III....lol he can play this character in the movie and fit right in.
