Greystone Park Movie Storyline :  Greystone Park - In October 2009, three filmmaking friends break into Greystone, an abandoned asylum, to explore whether or not they believe in ghosts. Legend has it that anyone who ventures into the hospital will go mad. The young trio will now have to suffer the consequences of their journey into a mysterious realm of escaped patients, ghosts and demonic shadows. What comes out of this adventure is a haunting tale of the supernatural, made all the more startling because it is real. While exploring the asylum, they hear noises and see things that challenge not only their faith in each other, but their own sanity. As they venture deeper into the dark side of fear and paranoia, they discover that even if they don't lose their lives inside, they may lose something more precious their souls.
Greystone Park Movie Plot : Greystone Park is based on the true life experiences of film makers Sean Stone and Alexander Wraith. They met at a dinner with Oliver Stone when Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was being filmed in October 2009, where they started to discuss ghost stories. As a result, Sean and Alexander decided to visit an abandoned psychiatric hospital in New Jersey, famous for its radical treatment of patients with mental illness, 'to explore whether or not they believe in the supernatural'. Once inside the institution they soon discovered that they were not alone.

Release date: The film is due to be released in late 2012. Sean Stone appeared on Alex Jones's radio show The Alex Jones Show in April 2011 to discuss the film.Genres: Horror

I am an aspiring filmmaker and a fan of 'found footage' films such as 'Chronicle, Cloverfield and The Blair Witch Project'. I went to see this film in Dubai with zero or no expectations at all having not heard any negative or positive reviews. If I were to give the review in a nutshell, it would be "Nothing". The film makers dwell in to a mental hospital with a hand-held shaky cam trying to film the supernatural in the supposed 'Haunted Hospital'. What we are shown during the length of the film are poorly lit and edited clips coupled with awful sound bytes that do nothing for Greystone Park. 
I wish Sean Stone the best of luck for the future but in my opinion, Greystone Park should have been a short 20 minute submission to perhaps an indie film festival.
