Creep Van Movie Plot:
Creep Van is the story of a down on his luck guy named Campbell Jackson (Brian Kolodziej) who is having a little trouble fitting in to his new surroundings in Detroit. Due to the lack of a car, Campbell’s left with no other options than to take a dead-end job at a local car wash. One day he spots a dilapidated 1970′s van for sale at the right price and thinks that his troubles are over. It covers all the bases when it comes to giving the avid horror fan what they expect. First of all (and most importantly), there’s the gore. They went out and got one of the best in the business. There’s not many effects guys out there that can tear up a body more creatively than Robert Hall (“Laid to Rest”, “Chromeskull”). The kills are original and some are pretty hilarious. I’m not gonna give anything away, but just so you know you don’t have to worry about any cutaway kills here.

I hate hearing about cool things happening in my neck of the woods AFTER they have passed. It happens to me all the time and I’m sure it will continue to happen for many years to come. The cool thing I’m referring to is a feature film called “Creep Van”. Now, I’m not really a fan of the title but this film rocks!! The film has a sense of humor, unpredictable ending, fun cameos, and some killer gore effects courtesy of the folks over at Almost Human. And to think I didn’t want to watch this film. I’m not sure when the film is coming to DVD but it has been acquired by Inception Media Group for a release later this year. It kind of felt like “Saw” in an old dilapidated 70’s van.Campbell (Brian Kolodziej) is a bit of a loveable loser. He is without a car and forced to ride the bus everywhere he goes. He is living with his pal and girlfriend who have some truly bizarre sexual practices. Campbell takes a job at a local car wash doing detailing. He is trying to save some cash to buy himself a car. The car he sets his eye on is a rusty ole 70’s style van, one that most of us associate as being the type a creepy guy would drive to kidnap people with. We aren’t far off, this guy doesn’t want to kidnap anyone, he just wants them dead. The killer becomes obsessed with making Campbell’s life a living hell. Not only this but he also has Swami Ted (Collin Bernsen), a pissed off drug dealer on his case to.

At least he has Amy (Amy Wehrell), who works with him at the car wash, but also has taken a liking to him. So things don’t look too bad until the crazy in the “Creep Van” decides to step up the game and tries to make things a hell of a lot worse for Campbell. Aside from a couple of tiny questions that were left unanswered, (they didn’t need to be answered, just something I would have enjoyed for myself) I had nothing to complain about. All the ingredients for a B-movie classic are present. The story moves along at just the right pace. There was nothing that felt like filler and every frame counts. The acting was good enough and you can’t have a B-movie classic without a cameo by Lloyd Kaufman, who always delivers. There is also a nice cameo by “Chromeskull” star Angelina Armani. Brian Kolodziej does a fine job carrying the film and I couldn’t imagine anyone else in the role. But Swami Ted was by far the most fun character. Collin Bernsen is hilarious and we need to see a movie based on that character.For me, the highlight of the film was, without question, the visual effects. There are some nice kills and plenty of gore. The van itself felt like a character in the film. The van is also equipped with booby traps galore and no shortage of deaths.

Most people just showed up to get killed but who cares. Why else would we be watching this movie anyways. We want blood!!! And we get it so “Creep Van” works in every area for me.Director Scott W. McKinlay knows how to deliver the goods. “Creep Van” isn’t going to please everybody, it just delivers exactly what a film with that title would suggest. It’s an hour and twenty minutes of cheesy jokes, blood, boobies, and good clean American fun. “Creep Van” is already available in the U.K. When Inception Media finally does release it here in the U.S, I really think you should run out and pick this up. I may even buy this disc when it streets. I’m looking forward to seeing where Scott W. McKinlay goes from here and if you need some cheap help on your next film, I’m you’re man. ****(out of 5)

I am an aspiring filmmaker and a fan of 'found footage' films such as 'Chronicle, Cloverfield and The Blair Witch Project'. I went to see this film in Dubai with zero or no expectations at all having not heard any negative or positive reviews. If I were to give the review in a nutshell, it would be "Nothing". The film makers dwell in to a mental hospital with a hand-held shaky cam trying to film the supernatural in the supposed 'Haunted Hospital'. What we are shown during the length of the film are poorly lit and edited clips coupled with awful sound bytes that do nothing for Greystone Park. 
I wish Sean Stone the best of luck for the future but in my opinion, Greystone Park should have been a short 20 minute submission to perhaps an indie film festival.

Rogue River Movie Storyline : From the opening scene, director Jourdan McClure had completely grasped the audience’s attention with a tattered and blood covered protagonist putting a gun to her head. As the scene fades to black, a single gunshot is heard and the audience feels as if they are in for a gruesome ride.Mara, Michelle Page (Miss Congeniality 2), is driving to where her father had taken her many times in her youth, to the famed Rogue River in order to scatter his ashes into it. While there, a seemingly nice enough older gentleman named Jon, Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses), kindly informs her that it is unlawful to do so and he walks her back to her car, which has been towed leaving her stranded. He offers to take her into town, but must stop by to check on his terminally ill wife Lea, Lucinda Jenney (Rainman and Thelma & Louise), first. This is where the film’s oddness begins to creep in, enhanced by the more than adequate soundtrack.Jon and his wife live deep off the beaten path, far from town and it’s obvious that Mara is somewhat concerned. At the home, Jon invites Mara in to meet Lea and she hesitantly accepts. Lea learns of Mara plans to stay at a motel in town and invites her to spend the night with them instead, which Mara accepts .After dinner, in one of the goriest scenes of the movie, Mara mishandles a plate while handing it to Lea and it shatters on the floor. Mara makes an attempt to pick up the large sharp pieces and Lea firmly grabs hold of Mara’s hand, inadvertently causing (and maybe even forcing) her to slice her palm wide open. The following scene is even more disturbing with Jon holding Mara down while Lea stitches up the gapping and glistening wound. It has now become clear to the audience that this couple is considerably more than just whacked.After awakening to Jon, standing at the foot of her bed clad only in underwear, Mara is more than just a little freaked, especially when Jon informs her that he has been talking to her father’s ashes and just watching her sleep. She decides to make a break for it, gathers her things and begins walking down the desolate highway. Jon comes out of the shadows, sneaks up behind her and strikes the back of her head with the butt of his rifle, rendering her unconscious. When she awakes, back in the home’s bed, she finds her ankles locked tightly by a leather strap and realizes that she is now being held against her will.

Throughout the rest of the film she is chronically tormented (not even close to the Hostel series) and forced into a demented sexual act with an unconscious fellow captive that is being kept in a basement trunk. Eventually she escapes; we know that from the beginning of the film, and the predictable woman running barefoot through the woods ensues before she goes on to inflict retribution in a half-hearted take on the movie I Spit on Your Grave.While the film generates and maintains suspense all the way up until the final credits, it never seems to let the ride hit its peak and a viewer won’t realize this until the end .The casting was certainly there, however, the limited dialogue coupled with the actors not fully conveying the character they portrayed makes this film mediocre at best. For example, Mara, finding herself in a terrifying situation that would typically cause anyone to basically go off the deep end, seemed to only be able to muster a few whimper filled tears which weren’t all that believable. Bill Moseley, and maybe this opinion is due to his similar cast type of roles, was fine as a yelling and sometimes hapless, bordering stupid, would be kidnapper. But, he could have easily enhanced the role, making the character much more chilling. Lucinda Jenney, in my opinion, stole the show with her quirky irrational actions and chemotherapy thinned hair giving her the impression that she was some sort of wicked old witch.
Rogue River Movie Plot: While spreading her father's ashes, Mara meets Jon who offers to give her a ride. Risking everything to escape this hell she's entered, she won't stop running until she finds safety.

As far as cinematography is concerned, specifically, the camera shots from the floor height looking back down a hallway were impressive and fully implied fear. But, there were too few to maintain the terror and therefore, the fright was not fully harbored.

The set choice was well considered and deserves mentioning, but Rogue River certainly had the potential to be a much better film. While it may appeal to hardcore fans of the subgenre, most horror seeking fans will probably find it hard to sit through and might end up looking for the stop button.

REC 3 Movie Storyline :

The film begins in tribute to the prior films in the series, by employing a hand-held style as the main protagonists, Koldo and Clara are about to celebrate their wedding day. The wedding is primarily filmed by Koldo's cousin, Adrián, and their wedding photographer, Atun, plus footage cuts in from other guests' cell phones and cameras. All goes well and the guests travel to the wedding reception, held in a huge mansion, on chartered buses. Guests mingle whilst Adrián films his uncle, who says he doesn't feel well because he was bitten by a dog (implied to be the dog, Max, that was infected with a demonic virus in the first film), but claims he will be alright and that he can hold on to attend the party.The party is in full swing with everyone on the dance floor in the main Ballroom. Outside, Adrián's uncle begins showing unusual symptoms such as vomiting. Adrián also captures people outside, in hazmat suits, searching the area. Back inside, while everyone is dancing, Adrián's Uncle is sitting on a balcony overlooking the ballroom. Seemingly drunk he falls onto the floor below in full view of everyone. His wife approaches to help him up but he awakens and bites her. He stands and then vomits blood on another guest (Paloma). Suddenly more guests infected with the demonic virus burst onto the dance floor, attacking guests. Amidst the ensuing chaos, Koldo and Clara are separated from each other. Koldo ends up with Adrián, Clara's sister and another male guest in the mansion's kitchen. Koldo asks Atun why is he still filming and destroys the camera. From then on the film returns to a normal third-person cinematic view and Koldo and the group begin to come up with a way to escape. They try the back exits but encounter more Infected guests. CCTV footage shows the Infected now roaming in the main ballroom.Koldo et al. discover they fit through the air-conditioning vents, apart from Atun due to his size, and head outside as more Infected make their way around the Mansion's courtyard. They discover a Police car and go to use the radio but Koldo is attacked by Paloma, the woman the Uncle vomited on, who is now infected. Adrián and the others help him kill her. The unnamed guest tries to use the Police car's radio to get help, but is attacked by the Infected Policeman. The sirens are set off attracting the Infected towards them. Adrián, Koldo and Clara's sister then find refuge inside a chamber where other survivors have gathered. The Infected cannot enter because of the holy water around the area. Clara's voice then comes over the P.A. system and, knowing Koldo is listening, she tells him she is alright and reveals she is pregnant, something she wanted to tell him earlier. Encouraged, Koldo suits up with a knight's armour to find her, telling the other survivors to hide the children in the charter buses.

In the mansion, Clara and the priest from the wedding ceremony, are hiding in the Central Control room. Suddenly, a horde of Infected people begins slamming on the windows trying to break into the room as Clara and the Priest watch in horror. The Priest then claims "it's too soon" and Clara asks what he means by that. The Priest then says her refers to the "Genesis" and talks about the nature of the Demons. Clara watches various CCTV shots from around the mansion showing the Infected roaming and attacking guests. The Priest then begins to panic but Clara slaps him to calm him down and they escape through the window. Clara enters the room under and finds Rafa (Koldo's Best Man) and Natalie, Clara's friend, but they soon run into more of The Infected. On a staircase they encounter the Infected Uncle's wife and other Infected guests. In the mirror above the staircase, the Infected are shown as reflections of the Niña Medeiros (The young girl from the original film, implied to be the source of the Demonic Infection). The Priest fights them off, freezing them with prayer. Meanwhile, Koldo finds the CCTV control Room and witnesses as Adrian and the survivors are attacked by the incoming Infected as the try to get onto the bus. In the background, a news report regarding the quarantine of an apartment block in central Barcelona is shown, revealing that the events of this film are happening concurrently with the events of the first film.

Clara, Rafa and Natalie then find "Johnny Sponge" the children's entertainer and they try to escape, but Natalie is attacked by another of The Infected, one of Clara's bridesmaids. Once outside, Clara comes face to face with her Infected mother, and watches her die as Johnny shoots her. Clara holds onto her mother's body but Rafa persuades Clara to leave her as she is dead. With more Infected coming, Johnny gets bitten as Rafa and Clara go underground into a tunnel. With the opportunity to leave, Rafa insists they go, but Clara refuses to leave without Koldo. Rafa suggests that if he was alive he would have given some sort of sign. Koldo is in the ballroom and turns up the volume on one of the songs in the dance floor, the song that backed the photo montage, at the start of the film. Clara then grabs a Chainsaw and goes to find Koldo, the song now heard is 'Eloise' which Clara and Koldo danced to. She fights off a hoard of infected, but Rafa is bitten in the process by an Infected waiter. He asks Clara to kill him before the Infection takes him and Clara proceeds to decapitate him. Clara then runs away from incoming horde of Infected. She and Koldo find their way back to each other at last, Koldo spots her in the tunnel below the kitchen and lowers a ladder. Their reunion is short-lived as a swarm of Infected crash into the kitchen. However they all suddenly freeze in place as the priest recites prayers over the P.A. system. Clara and Koldo exit and find more of The Infected frozen in place.

As they make their way outside, they are attacked by Koldo's Infected grandfather who, being deaf, cannot hear the prayers. Clara is bitten and tells Koldo to cut her arm off before the Infection consumes her. Koldo does so and they leave, seemingly having survived it all. However, when they reach the exit, they discover everything has been quarantined. Clara vomits blood and is ultimately consumed by the Infection. Devastated, Koldo picks her up 

and takes her outside where the police and a S.W.A.T. team tell him to let her go because she is Infected. Clara and Koldo share a final kiss before Clara bites his tongue off and attacks the armed men, who shoot both of them down. In their final moments Clara and Koldo use their last bit of strength to hold each other's hands.

On October 30, 1989, Maria Rossi (Suzan Crowley) committed a triple murder during an exorcism performed on her. The Catholic Church became involved, and she has since been in a Catholic psychiatric hospital in Rome. The film shows a news story and police investigation showing the three members of the clergy whom she murdered. Her daughter, Isabella, learned of the murders from her father, who died three days after telling her.

Twenty years later, Isabella (Fernanda Andrade) is in the process of filming a documentary about exorcisms and, to find out more about her mother, she visits a school in Rome. She meets two priests, Ben (Simon Quarterman) and David (Evan Helmuth). Ben and David take Isabella with them on an exorcism performed on Rosalita (Bonnie Morgan). They bring along medical equipment to determine if it's possession or mental illness. Rosalita attacks the crew after spouting out obscene remarks in different languages and accents. She calls Isabella by her name, despite not knowing her. Eventually, they get her under control.When Isabella goes to visit her mother, Maria, in the asylum, she finds that her mother speaks in different accents and has paintings all over the walls. She has inverted crosses carved into her arms and her bottom lip. Maria tells Isabella that killing a child is against God's will, then lets out an ear-shattering scream. Isabella tells David and Ben that she had an abortion years ago and her mother had no way of knowing that—another sign that showed possible possession. As the crew prepares to perform an exorcism/analysis on Maria, David worries about losing his job, since the Church does not authorize exorcisms without undeniable proof that the patient is indeed possessed. During the procedure, Maria mentions knowing what Ben did in the past, as well as Isabella's child. She breaks free of her restraints and sends Ben flying into the door, also knocking David to the ground. The doctors rush in shortly after.

After analyzing the data from the video and audio files, they present the evidence to the Church. David shows many signs of stress, as Ben plays the audio files over and over, listening to the part where Maria says "I know what you did". Ben then finds that there are four different demons speaking in unison in a different clip. David is to perform a baptism at his church, in which Michael tags along to record. The service starts without incident until he holds the baby to start the Immersion Baptism. He then mutters some lines from the Bible and starts forcefully submerging the baby in the holy water, staring blankly at the camera. The crowd of people rush up to save the baby as he passes out.

Soon after, Ben finds David at home with blood all over his forearms, eyes rolled back into his head, much the way Maria was during the exorcism. The police arrive, and though it doesn't show on film, David somehow acquires an officer's handgun and holds it in his mouth. Ben tells him to fight it, but he begins to weep, reciting The Lord's Prayer, stopping; forgetting the last few words. He laughs and then shoots himself. Just then, Isabella begins having a seizure.

Ben hysterically comes to the realization that Isabella is possessed. As they wait in the hospital, nurses rush into the emergency room and find a nurse on the floor, blood spewing from her neck as other nurses fight to restrain Isabella. Ben and Michael drag Isabella into the hallway and restrain her. They leave with Isabella in a car, heading to get help for a potential exorcism. While Michael drives, Isabella speaks of also knowing the horrible act Ben committed, scaring Ben. She then tries to strangle Michael and Ben is able to pull her off before Michael loses control of the car, but not before she breathes into Michael's mouth. He instantly shows signs of possession, and acceleration can be heard as Michael speeds into oncoming traffic, headlong into another car. The camera goes black, and cuts in with short sequences of chaos, most likely of Michael, Isabella and Ben flying through their car windshield, leaving the outcome unknown. After the screen finally cuts to black and the credits start rolling, a title card is shown informing that the case of the Rossi family is still unresolved, followed by another title card directing viewers to a website (www.therossifiles.com) "for more information on the ongoing investigation."

Background :

Principal photography began in 2010 in several locations, including Bucharest (Romania), Rome (Italy) and Vatican City. The Devil Inside film is of the "found footage" genre, and so is shot in documentary style despite being fictional. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Steven Schneider took the movie to Paramount Pictures,who ultimately produced it through their low-budget company Insurge Pictures, who acquired the film as their first release hoping The Devil Inside would replicate the success of Paranormal Activity.
