Pitch Perfect Movie Storyline :
Based on Mickey Rapkin's non-fiction novel "Pitch Perfect." Rapkin, senior editor at GQ magazine, spent a season covering competitive collegiate a cappella. He followed the groups from Tufts University, the University of Oregon and the University of Virginia, writing about the singing, groupies, partying and rivalries. The story follows an all-girls a cappella group who rebuilds so they can make their way to the championship and take on the boys.(Beca, a freshman at Barton University, is cajoled into joining The Bellas, her school's all-girls singing group. Injecting some much needed energy into their repertoire, The Bellas take on their male rivals in a campus competition.)

The first trailer for Pitch Perfect was released on June 14, 2012and was met with generally positive feedback. GeekScholars Movie News gave the preview an average score of "B" on an A+ to F- scale, saying that "it loses points for being not all that original", but, "there is enough freshness in the material to stir up some interest and entertainment".

As of 13 December 2011, singer and co-star Ester Dean tweeted "Last Day on Set of "Pitch Perfect" its a Wrapped what a great time!",indicating that filming of the movie has ended. However, co-star Skylar Astin tweeted on 16 December 2011, that filming of this movie has officially ended, with a rainy day.The setting of the film will be in a campus and a university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Elizabeth Banks was a co-producer and a co-star in the film.
